Tríona O’Connor has over 15 years of experience in multiple business environments working with international organizations and partner management. O’Connor has been with IFES for six years, where she is currently developing the organizational plan to build relationships with international, multi‐lateral and bilateral aid agencies; as well as international foundations interested in democracy and governance support. She has served as the primary liaison for the President with board directors, business partners and staff. Before entering the INGO world, O’Connor came from a large IT company where she developed scalable programs to manage over 300 partner relationships, ensuring increased partner activity. She also managed international sales operations and the global distributor network, spanning 18 countries. O’Connor holds a master’s in International Affairs plus a certificate in International Business, from the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Georgia Institute of Technology (US), and a bachelor’s in International Marketing and Languages from Dublin City University, Ireland. O’Connor is fluent in Gaelic and French.
