Vladimir Pran advises and provides training to the Palestinian Central Election Commission. Pran brings more than 15 years of experience in elections and political party development to IFES.
Prior to joining IFES, he worked as an elections advisor with the National Democratic Institute in West Bank/Gaza, Indonesia, Uganda, Ukraine, Nigeria, Armenia, Georgia and the Balkans. He co-authored NDI's guidebook on observation of electronic voting and served as an ODIHR expert in assessing the world’s first national Internet election held in Estonia in 2007.
In his native Croatia, Pran designed and implemented parallel vote tabulation projects for GONG, a Croatian election monitoring organization, and served as secretary for the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations Initiative. He also served as assistant to the chief of office for the Croatian People’s Party, assisting with campaigns, coordinating research and polling and administering party operations.
Pran holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Zagreb in political science.
