This publication by the Irish Department of the Environment in September of 2004 entitled, “How the Dail is elected” provides general information to the Irish public on the structure of Dail and the electoral process. The Dail is the lower house of the Irish Parliament and included in this leaflet is the voting and nomination processes as well as the information on term limits and member qualifications.
