“How the President is elected” is a leaflet issued by the Irish Department of the Environment in September of 1994 that details the qualifications of becoming the president and general information regarding the office. Also provided are rules and regulations regarding the voting and nomination processes as well as a list of the former presidents of Ireland including current president since 1990, Mary Robinson.
