Ahead of the Yemen presidential elections scheduled to take place in February, IFES has been providing assistance to the Supreme Commission for Election and Referendum (SCER) as it prepares for the polls.
Areas of support include developing a voter information campaign and a media center that will function as the SCER’s hub for all communications and media outreach activities. IFES will also assist the SCER develop, implement and monitor training programs for members of the security committees, and procure materials such as voting booths and privacy screens for Election Day.
