On 26 January 2012, Egypt’s Higher Judicial Election Commission (HJEC) held a press conference to discuss the recent People’s Assembly elections and preparations for the Shura Council elections, which began on 29 January.
In this short clip, which aired on Egyptian state TV, HJEC Chairman Abdel Moaz Ibrahim highlights voter education materials depicting the voting process as well as guidelines for poll workers on how to properly use the indelible ink, ballot boxes and seals.
