Take either the blue or orange metro line to McPherson Square. Exit McPherson metro station following the White House exit signs (I Street at Vermont Avenue and 14th street). Once outside the metro, make a left and walk adjacent the park to the 15th and K intersection. Continue walking north on 15th street for 1 block, crossing L Street. The IFES building is on the right hand side of the street at the intersection of 15th and L (building with PNC bank at the corner).

Take red line to Farragut North stop. Exit L Street. Make a left on L Street and walk down to the intersection of 15th and L Streets. Building is on the left at the corner of 15th and L Street.

Wheaton/Silver Spring/Beltway

Take Colesville Road South/Route. 29 beltway exit. Make left at 16th Street. Continue south on 16th Street. to L Street. Take a left on L Street. Building is on corner of 15th and L Streets on the left.

College Park

Take Route 1 to Thomas Circle. Take M Street to 15th Street. Make a left onto 15th Street. IFES is on the corner of L Street and 15th Street on the left side.

Baltimore and Points North

Take 95 South to Fort McHenry Tunnel. Continue to Route 50 Baltimore-Washington Parkway Exit. Take Parkway to Washington, DC exit. Continue onto New York Avenue, then Massachusetts Avenue to 15th Street. Turn left onto 15th Street. IFES is on the corner of 15th and L Streets.

If you are traveling after 4PM, 15th Street will be one way. Please go to 16th Street, make a left onto 16th Street and make another left on "L" Street to 15th Street turn left on 15th Street. IFES is at the corner of 15th and L Streets on the right hand corner.

I-95/I-395 and Points South

Take 95 North (395 inside the Beltway) to the 14th Street Bridge. Go north on 14th Street. Turn left on K Street into the far right service lane. Make second right onto 15th Street (Vermont Avenue runs between 14th and 15th Streets). Take 15th Street up to the intersection of 15th and L Streets. Building is on the right.

Dulles Airport

Take the Washington Dulles Access Road to Route 66 East.

Follow 66 across the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Bridge into the District of Columbia. Follow Constitution Avenue east to 18th Street, and turn left; turn right onto L Street, then left onto 15th Street; IFES will be on your right, at the corner of 15th and L Streets.

Reagan National Airport

Take the George Washington Memorial Parkway North approximately 1.5 miles to the 14th Street bridge exit (also called Route 1). Take this exit; cross the 14th Street bridge, staying in the left lane. Follow 14th Street to K Street, NW. Turn left onto "K" Street. Turn right onto 15th Street. IFES is at the corner of 15th and L Streets on the right side. Approximate travel time by car is 20 minutes.
