Defining and Prosecuting Election Fraud

Published

In this podcast, the first in a series of three podcasts on election fraud, Rafael Lopez-Pintor, tells us what election fraud is and how it can be prosecuted in legal courts.

As the topic of electoral fraud has gained prominence in the media and the international discourse, IFES is releasing a series of white papers introducing a groundbreaking framework for deterring this corrosive practice. The authors of the three white papers have also recorded podcasts on their topics.

The white papers are written by top election experts: Rafael Lopez Pintor, IFES election specialist;  Staffan Darnolff, IFES senior election advisor; and Alan Wall, IFES chief of party in Nepal.
