She Leads: Women’s Training Program

SHE LEADS is a women’s leadership training program implemented by Yaung Chi Thit with the support of the International Foundation for Electoral System through a two phase training approach that began in 2015. The first phase of the program reached 775 women, providing them with electoral and democratic knowledge as well as leadership skills. This training has encouraged participants to take on active leadership roles and promote the positive contributions that women can make in Myanmar at the local and national levels. The SHE LEADS documentary follows participants from the first phase of the program as they undertake activities and discuss the impact the program had on their personal and professional lives.
