Jan. 22, Philippine Political Finance Conference: IFES and its local partners will host a one-day conference examining the role of money in Philippine politics as a kick off for a five-month political finance monitoring program. Contact Laura Ingalls (lingalls@ifes.org) for details.

Jan. 26-28, COMELEC Retreat: IFES will sponsor a retreat for the Philippine Commission on Elections to train commissioners on topics such as election technology, voter education, legal reform, pollworker training and electoral dispute resolution.
