Matthew Parry, Senior Program Manager, Africa
Matthew Parry currently serves as Senior Program Manager for Africa. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the international relief and development field; managing programs in Latin America, Southeastern Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Parry has designed and managed a variety of projects funded by USAID, the US Department of State, the British Government, the European Commission, various UN agencies and other institutional donors. Included among his diverse work experiences are serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic, designing and managing a large housing program in northern Iraq, responding to natural disasters with the American Red Cross and the IFRC and managing USAID-issued Democracy and Governance Task Orders.
Parry graduated with honors from York University, the United Kingdom, with a master’s in Post-Conflict Development and Reconstruction; he also holds a bachelor’s from Indiana University with a double major in Spanish and Political Science. He speaks English and Spanish.
