Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. IFES is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 52-1527835). Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Donations of $100 or more will entitle you to a complimentary issue of democary
at large, the IFES magazine on current events in democracy.

What organizations support IFES?
IFES receives funding from the US government and bilateral donors such as
the Canadian International Development Agency, the Swedish International Development
Agency, the Finnish International Development Agency and the British Department
for International Development.

Where can I find IFES’ financial statements?

How can I be sure you are investing my support wisely?
An outside accounting firm conducts an annual audit of IFES, which is published
in our Annual Report. In addition, an all-volunteer board of trustees oversees
the work of IFES, sets policies and procedures, and monitors the budget and
expenditures.

Please print, complete, and return our short donation form with your check. You may also make a donation in honor or in memory of a relative, friend, or colleague by completing the appropriate box on the donation form. - Matching Gifts. Many employers offer matching gift programs,
sometimes doubling or tripling the good your gift does. Contact your HR department
to determine your company’s matching gift policy.

Will I be sent a receipt for my gift?
Yes. Network for Good automatically provides an on-screen and email receipt
for each transaction made. Those who donate $250 or more online will receive
a paper receipt at the end of the year from Network for Good. If your donation
is mailed, IFES will mail you a receipt.

Will my name and address be sold to other solicitors?
No. Neither Network for Good nor IFES sells, rents, or trades donors' names,
addresses or e-mail addresses.

Are online gifts to IFES secure?
Yes. Network for Good protects your information by working with partners
that provide a secure and safe environment for credit card donations. Network
for Good uses VeriSign to verify the validity of the website where donations
are made.
