Salaries
Salary ranges vary by position and are based on labor market surveys, including the Department of Labor statistics. Annual salary increases are merit based.
Vacation and Leave
11 paid holidays per year
Paid Leave15 days / first 2 years of employment; 20 days / 3 - 5 years; 25 days / 6 - 10 years; 30 days / 11 years and over. Employees are immediately vested in their paid leave as accrued each pay period.
Sick Leave and Personal Leave96 hours sick leave per year for full-time employees Jan. 1 of each calendar year, prorated for new hires and part-time employees.

Medical and Life Insurance
IFES offers full coverage for employees from date of hire through PPO Guardian/Alliance. (Prescriptions included with medical premiums) Employee is responsible for 20% of premiums.
Dental InsuranceIFES offers full coverage for employees with PPO Guardian dental plan.
Employee is responsible for 20% of premiums.
Life Insurance and AD&DCompany-paid insurance benefits of 3 times the annual salary. AD&D benefits are also 3 times salary.
Disability Benefits
Effective the 8th calendar day of disability. Company pays:
0-2 years of service:
1-30 days = 100% base salary
31-90 days = 50% base salary
2+ years of service:
1-90 days = 100% base salary
Effective after 90 calendar days of disability. Benefits paid at 66 2/3% of base salary to a monthly maximum of $6,000.
Retirement
IFES provides employees an optional plan to contribute to a 401(k) plan up to the legal annual limit. IFES will match 100% of first 6% of employee contribution. Employees are immediately fully vested in the plan.
Other Benefits
Pre-tax method of paying for out of pocket expenses relating to:
- Health Care Expenses (up to $3,000 annually)
- Dependent Care Expenses (up to $5,000 annually)
Available for payroll and flexible spending account reimbursement.
Benefit AllowanceFull-time employees receive a $160 monthly Benefit Allowance to apply towards benefits. The Allowance is added directly to paycheck, and can be taken simply as additional compensation.
Alternative Work Schedules- Flextime: Allows an employee working a standard workweek to adjust the start and end times of his/her schedule. Schedules must include core hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Compressed Work Week: Allows employees to compress workweek(s) into: 1) Four 10-hour days which enables the employee to take either Mondays or Fridays off each week, or 2) Eight 9-hour days and one eight-hour day, enabling one day off each bi-weekly period.
- Telecommuting: Mutually agreed upon by the employee and an IFES’ management representative, whereby the employee works at an alternative work site on specified days and/or for specified hours.
