1985 Voters Pamphlet
In preparation for the November 5th, 1985 Washington state general election, Secretary of State Ralph Munro published the “Voters Pamphlet.” The pamphlet provides brief explanations, statements for and against, full text of proposed and existing legislature, and rebuttal statements to better inform voters on the four state measures up for vote. Illustrations and slogans as well as the inclusion of a voter checklist, absentee ballot information, district maps, a toll free voter service, and a voter comment section are included to encourage voter participation.
