Voter Registration
The voter registration process helps to enfranchise all eligible voters and contributes to a country's ability to realize the principle of "one person, one vote, one value." It is the responsibility of electoral authorities to ensure that the voter register is inclusive, accurate and comprehensive, and that its processes are transparent to all stakeholders. The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) provides a range of assistance to electoral authorities, including designing and planning registration strategies and activities, choosing and implementing appropriate technologies for registration, and providing tools and assistance for audits of registration data.
