In July 2000, IFES sponsored a seminar entitled “Controlling
the Illegal Influence of Money Politics and Regulating Political Finance” in
cooperation with IRI in Indonesia. The IFES seminar focused on practical
aspects of efforts to control both illegal and legal influences of
money in the political process.
