Anya Kozlova, Deputy Director, Europe and Eurasia
Anya Kozlova has over 10 years of experience managing and implementing democracy and governance programs. Having spent the last decade working at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) in various capacities, she is well versed in all aspects of program design, implementation, and reporting on projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development; Global Affairs Canada; the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development; and the European Union, among other donors. Currently serving as deputy director in IFES’ Europe and Eurasia team, Kozlova is directly responsible for the overall design, implementation, evaluation, quality control, and general management of IFES’ programs in the Balkans as well as for the regional Europe program. She also supported large programs in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Kozlova develops and provides expert level guidance on IFES’ programmatic work, and uses her years of experience to complete administrative and financial duties expediently and accurately. She holds a master’s degree in public policy from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree in English from York College. She is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
