Paula Kenworthy, Senior Business Manager
Paula Kenworthy serves as the International Foundation for Electoral Systems’ (IFES) senior business manager, where she oversees business development activities and advances the organization’s global growth strategy and targets. Prior to joining IFES, Kenworthy worked for more than 15 years in business development, strategic planning, monitoring program outcomes and leading key growth initiatives for international development organizations including Chemonics International, Pact and Global Communities.
Kenworthy has worked with donors including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Labor, United Nations, World Bank, United Kingdom Department for International Development, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and other foundations and corporate partners across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Kenworthy’s experience in international development also includes program management, grants management, communications, and monitoring and evaluation systems, surveys and data quality for USAID programs in Afghanistan. She has a background in gender issues including women’s leadership, human rights and economic development.
Kenworthy holds a master’s degree in public service administration from Texas A&M University, a graduate certificate in survey design and data analysis from George Washington University and is currently in the Executive Program for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania.
