Rebecca Giovannozzi has over six years of experience in program management and nearly four years of experience managing democracy, rights, and governance programming globally. Rebecca leads the implementation of regional civil society programs in ASEAN countries, including on disability rights, anti-corruption, and inclusion. Her specialty areas include civic participation, advocacy, women, peace and security, and responsive service delivery. Prior to joining IFES, she worked with Counterpart International on civil society strengthening programs in Asia and Africa and for PeaceTrees Vietnam to advance humanitarian mine action and survivor support in central Vietnam. She holds an MA in international affairs from the Elliott School at George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
