Information on the Volunteer Deputy Registrar Program


This pamphlet, published in Chicago, Illinois in January of 1994, was geared at educating the local electorate and spurring voter turnout.  In particular the piece goes over voter qualification, what to do in the case of a changed name or address and it also touches on stipulations for people in the armed services and the handicapped. The piece came out in lead up to the November 8 congressional elections; there is a Spanish version of the document included as well.

“The Integration of Polling Stations” is an instructive manual, available in Spanish, issued in 1994 by the Federal Electoral Institute in Mexico, and intended to serve as a guide for the directive table officials. The manual explains the administrative structure and function of the polling place directive tables and the responsibilities of its officials. Additionally, it includes a list of the electoral crimes, committed by the electoral officials, punishable by the Penal Code.
