It has recently come to IFES’ attention that fraudulent job postings are appearing on at least one job search website. These “postings” are not placed by IFES and may advertise jobs that are not in fact open. Users who click on links in these postings are told they need to pay money for a background check or some other purpose and/or are taken to a third party website that is not related to IFES.

In light of these developments, all applicants should know that:

  1. IFES will never request that any applicant, in any country, at any time, pay any money to IFES, or any other person or entity, to be considered for hire.
  2. Exercising caution is necessary to make sure that the applicant is actually dealing with IFES. If there are ever concerns in this regard, you can contact the Human Resources team at
  3. All open positions at IFES are on our website at Indeed, applications can be submitted through our website.
