Celebrate International Youth Day 2025 with IFES!

Young people are leaders in building resilient democracies, and youth-led democracy promotion has far-reaching impacts within communities around the world.

Learn more about the diverse ways that young people ignite democracy – in online and in-person spaces and through peer-to-peer learning, inclusive education, and community mobilization.

Panelists will also share how young people drive civic change by making civic and political processes more accessible to their communities and encouraging their sustained participation.

Join IFES to explore how young people are at the core of civic change and what you can do to lead positive change in your communities!

Panelists

  • Lata Devi Jagmohan, Guyana
  • Femi Adebayo, Kimpact Development Initiative
  • Léa Fournier, European Partnership for Democracy

  • Moderated by Sarah Timreck, Youth Engagement and Civic Education Specialist at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems
