Each fellowship offers a $5,000 research award for a Master’s, PhD, or JD student, or established academics seeking partial funding for election and democracy-related research initiatives. In addition to receipt of funding, fellows are engaged in regular research seminars and conferences throughout the academic year to exchange ideas and insights with peers and experts working on parallel projects. IFES will also foster connections with fellows and its global network of election experts to support advancement of their research.
