Natasha Campbell
Natasha Campbell is IFES’s first General Counsel and Vice President for Human Resources, providing strategic legal leadership and shaping human resources programs that strengthen IFES’s global workforce. A seasoned attorney and social justice advocate, Campbell has dedicated her career to advancing equity, opportunity, and inclusion. She is recognized for designing human resources strategies grounded in fairness, transparency, and efficiency—helping organizations achieve their missions while fostering diverse, high-performing teams. Her leadership spans local and federal government, where she has championed initiatives to expand access to employment, upward mobility, housing, clean energy, and broader economic opportunity for employees and historically marginalized communities.
Campbell served as Director of the Office of Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining for the District of Columbia government, a cabinet-level role managing labor relations for 27,000 employees across 44 collective bargaining units. She later joined the Obama Administration as Senior Advisor to U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz, shaping labor-management strategies, workforce development initiatives, and national workplace improvement programs. She is the Founding Director of the HBCU Clean Energy Initiative, which promotes equitable access to the clean energy sector for historically underrepresented communities. She also volunteers with the Footprint Project, supporting disaster-affected communities with renewable energy solutions.
Born in Jamaica and raised in Miami, Campbell holds degrees from Florida A&M University and Howard University School of Law, and a Certificate in Negotiation from Harvard University. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
