Sarah Timreck
Sarah Timreck is the Youth Engagement Program Officer at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), where she helps design programming that is youth-led, youth-informed, and youth-serving. Previously, she worked on IFES’ Middle East and North Africa portfolio, supporting projects in Tunisia and Libya that partnered with civil society and government stakeholders across the electoral cycle. Sarah has a BA in Political Science and Religion from Swarthmore College and a Master of Arts in Middle East Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University. Before joining IFES, Sarah was a Teach for America Corps Member in Alabama, where she taught high school history and has experience working with nonprofits in research, writing, and program management.
