A Look at Guatemala's 2015 Elections
Amid a tense political scene, Guatemalans went to the polls on September 6 for general elections, voting for President and Vice President, Representatives to the Guatemalan Congress and the Central American Parliament, and Mayors and Local Council Representatives. Since 2010, IFES has been working in Guatemala providing technical assistance to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal to strengthen its capacity to conduct inclusive, credible and transparent elections.

“We all Have a Dream” is a Christmas card, available in Spanish, sent out in 1999 by Ricardo Lagos, the candidate for the 2000 Presidential election in Chile, and his wife, Luisa Duran, in lead up to the 2000 Presidential Election in Chile. The card talks about the dreams every Chilean citizen has, such as free people, equality and a Great Chile.

Chile Necesita tu Compromiso con el futuro
“Chile Needs Your Commitment with the Future” is a flyer, available in Spanish, issued by the PARTICIPA Corporation of private law, Chile, and intended to stimulate people to vote in the 1988 national plebiscite in Chile. The flyer reaches out to the Chilean voters encouraging participation that would bring in the country the desired values of a democratic system.

Unidos Construyamos la cadena por la paz
“United we Will Build the Chain of Peace” is a poster, available in Spanish, issued in 1988 by the Crusade for the Citizens’ Participation, in lead up to the September 25, 1988 National Plebiscite in Chile. The poster advertises the travelling awareness campaign.
