This report concerns the nationwide parliamentary elections which took place in March, 1994. The report details various meetings with government officials, media, labor leaders, educators and students. The pre-election assessment concludes with findings that the international community could assist Belarus in preparing for the elections and supporting the country’s progress toward democratic reforms.

Ballot used in the 12 December 1993 Parliamentary election in Russia. This ballot was used in the city of Moscow and was used for the party list seats. In the election 225 seats were filled by proportional representation. The major parties in the election were the Liberal Democratic Party, Russia's Choice, the Communist Party, Women of Russia, the Agrarian Party, and Yabloko.

Ballots used for Parliamentary elections in Russia in 1993. These two ballots were used to fill the 225 single member district seats in the Duma. The first ballot is from constituency no. 10, the Karelia Republic, and the second ballot is from constituency no. 91, the Kemerova Oblast.
