Learning by Gaming: Democrapoli
Within its civic and voter education campaigns in anticipation of the Malian communal elections, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), in collaboration with the Nigerien NGO Groupe de Recherche Action sur la Démocratie et les Systèmes Electoraux (GRADSEL), has developed an educational game called Democrapoli: Elections Communales Mali (Communal Elections Mali).

“Demo Memory” is an informative leaflet, available in Spanish, believed to be issued in 2002 by the Electoral Institute of the Federal District of Mexico and intended to explain to the Mexican youth the implications of democracy-related concepts. Formacion Civica y Etica
“Civic and Ethical Formation” is a teacher’s guide, available in Spanish, published in 1999 by the “Grupo Noriega Editores” in Mexico and meant to serve as a curriculum and guide for teaching civic and ethic classes. The guide discusses the concepts and implications of human nature and values, the role of citizens in the society, the role of the individual in the community, social organization of people and democracy. The guide contains reflection activities, for students, on the topics covered.
