Ballot papers and ballot envelope for the first round of the French Presidential election held on 22 April 2012. To vote, a voter would fold the paper containing the name of her/his preferred candidate and place it in the envelope. The main candidates in the first round of voting were Nicolas SARKOZY, Francois HOLLANDE, Francois BAYROU, Marine LE PEN, and Jean-Luc MELENCHON.
