Lebanon lowers voting age to 18 years
On 19 March 2009, Parliament voted unanimously to adopt a Constitutional Law to reduce the voting age in Lebanon from 21 years to 18 years. The Law will now be forwarded to the cabinet for the second stage.

Briefing on Lebanese Voter Register
The voter register in Lebanon is updated annually. Between 10 February and 10 March, the Election Law provides that all Lebanese citizens have the right to check whether they are correctly included on the voter register before it is published on 30 March.

“The First Juvenile Voting” is an unfilled registration tablet, available in Spanish, approved in 1990 by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal in Ecuador. The unfilled registration book is meant to be used for the “First Juvenile Voting” pushing for children’s rights. The registration book consists of personal information sections such as: name/last name, age, gender, home address, church affiliation, and if applicable school grade.

The article covers the opening of the registration process for the June 30, 1990 child elections in Ecuador. The article features the coverage of child registration for the June 30, 1990 child elections in Ecuador. Additionally, it highlights the impoverished circumstances a large number of the Ecuadorian children experience and it lists the rights to be voted on by the children in order to understand what their main concerns are.
