“Je vais choisir un Senateur en Herbe” is a guide to candidates and voters, available in French, for a mock election for Senator meant to teach students more about the electoral system in Haiti. The guide, published by the Minister of National Education in April 1999, gives advice to candidates on how to write and deliver speeches as well as providing guidelines to voters on how to choose the appropriate candidate.

Preparation Materials for Youth Student Elections
“Preparation Materials for Youth Student Elections” is a guide from April 1999, available in French, which provides materials and explains how to hold a mock student election representing a Legislative Election in Haiti to elect senators. The document, published with the help of IFES, contains applications for candidates, mock sample ballots, a voter registration form and an electoral code.

Les mots ont la parole
“Les mots ont la Parole” is a booklet, available in both French and Creole and created by the International Civil Mission in Haiti, which features a story book about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The document, released in 1998, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the declaration of human rights by reaching out to children in Haiti and educating them about human rights and the importance of justice, equality, liberty, friendship and peace.

Les eleves haitiens disent et dessinent les droits de l'homme
“Les Eleves Haitiens disent et dessinent les Droits de l’Homme” is a booklet which features poems in Creole and French and the drawings from Haitian schoolchildren obtained from a picture contest organized by UNESCO to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The booklet, published in 1998 in Haiti, is made up of many drawings, each followed by a poem on the subjects of justice, equality, liberty, friendship and peace.

Enstriksyon sivik ak moral
“Enstriksyon sivik ak moral” is a teaching booklet from 1997, available in a Creole and French copy, distributed to teachers in Haiti that may be used in classrooms to teach 10 to 12 year olds about the political process in Haiti and civic duty. The document, written by Damien Francois, contains questions and answers, instructions for practical activities, sections to fill out and various information about Haiti such as the national anthem and information on government structure and elections.

Joven Nicaraguense
“Nicaraguan Youth” is a voter guide, available in Spanish, issued in 1989 by the Supreme Electoral Council in Nicaragua in lead up to the February 25, 1990 Nicaraguan Parliamentary Elections. The brochure contains instructions on the electoral registration process to take place before the elections. The brochure is specifically intended to young Nicaraguans to encourage and familiarize them with the registration process.
