“Democracy is Everyone’s Responsibility” is a Civic Education Booklet, available in Spanish, issued in 1992 by PARTICIPA, Chile. The booklet describes democracy and informs citizens of how they may participate in building a democratic society. By teaching the values of democracy to the readers and its importance, the booklet is meant to serve as an incentive for people to participate in creating a democratic Chile. Manual de Educacion Civica
“Handbook of Civic Education” is an educative manual, available in Spanish, and published in 1991 by the PARTICIPA Corporation of private law in Chile. The manual is intended to serve as a source of information, for students, on the theory of democracy and the historic analysis of the Chilean institutional system. The book consists of 2 parts divided in 12 chapters, the first part being the theoretical part based on the chapter dedicated to the Human Being and the Human Rights, the Person and the Society, the Political Regimes and so on, while the second part focuses on chapters focused on the historical analysis of the Chilean institutional system. Some of the chapters focus on the following themes: the Constitutional Rights and Guarantees, the Regional Electoral Tribunals, and the Constitutional Reform. Additionally, it includes educational exercise samples after each chapter.

“You Also Decide” is an info brochure, available in Spanish, believed to be issued in 1988 by the CRUSADE for the Citizens’ Participation (“CRUZADA”) in Chile, in lead up to the 1988 Chilean National Plebiscite. The brochure is meant to stimulate Chilean voters’ participation in the 1988 Plebiscite. Additionally, it includes messages from various Chilean citizens addressing voters to come out and express their right to vote, as well as it provides short texts about how voting can change a society into a democratic one.
