“Education for Democracy: Chronology of the Project” is a civic education program description and timeline, available in Spanish, issued in 1996 by the Ministry of Education in Nicaragua. The document presents the goal and objectives of the “Education for Democracy” project that was implemented during 1992-1996 in Nicaragua, as well as the main objectives achieved for the entire duration and divided into year time segments. The projects main goal was to assist Nicaraguan educators in introducing and expanding the civic education object in the formal educational system in Nicaragua.

The report focuses on the technological innovations in Brazilian electoral administration, the future direction of its modernization, and the applicability of the concepts and technologies involved to election administration in other countries.
Specifically,
IFES conducted studies on the Brazilian development of a cost-effective indigenous election technology which could be applied to other developing countries.
