Palestinian High Court: “Cancelling Elections is Illegal”
On December 13, 2010, the Palestinian High Court issued its final verdict on the lawsuits challenging the Council of Ministers (Cabinet) of the Palestinian Authority decision to cancel the local elections scheduled for July 17, 2010. The Court ruled that once the cabinet calls for elections, it does not have authority to cancel them.

“The First Juvenile Voting” is an unfilled registration tablet, available in Spanish, approved in 1990 by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal in Ecuador. The unfilled registration book is meant to be used for the “First Juvenile Voting” pushing for children’s rights. The registration book consists of personal information sections such as: name/last name, age, gender, home address, church affiliation, and if applicable school grade.

The article covers the opening of the registration process for the June 30, 1990 child elections in Ecuador. “Registration of Children Starting on Friday” is a periodical article, available in Spanish, published on May 7, 1990 by Florha Proano de Simancas in the “Ultimas Noticias” newspaper in Ecuador. The article features the coverage of child registration for the June 30, 1990 child elections in Ecuador. Additionally, it highlights the impoverished circumstances a large number of the Ecuadorian children experience and it lists the rights to be voted on by the children in order to understand what their main concerns are.
