Republic of Indonesia, 1999: Allocation of Seats to Political Parties for the Peoples Representative Assembly (DPR)
On June 7, 1999, elections were held in Indonesia for the 462 elected seats in the national People's Representative Assembly (DPR) and for assemblies at the provincial and district levels. The election law approved in January provided for assembly seats to be allocated to political parties contesting the election according to a proportional representation system.

“Information about Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Voters” was published in 1999 in lead up to the general elections that were held in Kazakhstan on October 10 and 24 of that year. The booklet describes the voting rights of Kazakhstani’s including universal adult suffrage. Also, there are sections on topics such as election financing and canvassing as well as the timing and place of the election.

All Around Kentucky
This September 1998 edition of the Kentucky Farm Bureau’s “All Around Kentucky” was released in lead up to that year’s November 3rd elections. The magazine featured articles on legislation related to tobacco use, the opening of the Farm Bureau Bank in 1999 and the upcoming farm safety week. The piece also includes a multi page spread devoted to the November elections. The issues related to farming and Kentucky were featured as well as profiles of the upcoming candidates.
