“Moldova Election Brochure” is a voter handbook, available in Romanian, issued in 2001 by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems and the Center for Democratic Participatory Development, in lead up to the February 25, 2001 Parliamentary Elections in Moldova, and intended to stimulate voters to exercise their right to vote and to familiarize them with the voting instructions and the structure and functions of the Parliament to be elected by them.

Understanding the Electoral System
In 2001, the United Nations Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) designed two pamphlets educating Kosovo citizens on the November 17th, 2001 Assembly Elections and Provisional Assembly Elections respectively. Both pamphlets are included in this document and both include basic factual information regarding political structure and explanations of proportional representation.

Understanding Voter Service
“Understanding Voting Service” is a pamphlet produced by the United Nations Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in order to explain the function of OSCE Voter Service Centres. This pamphlet touches briefly on voter eligibility but primarily focuses on emphasizing the fact that Voter Service Centers exist in order to assign each registered Kosovo citizen to a polling center before elections, in this case the November 17th, 2001 Assembly elections.

Civic Voice Newsletter
“Civic Voice Newsletter” is the March-April 7th Edition of the “Civic Voice” informative bulletin, available in Russian, published in 2001 by the IFES-Moldova and is intended to serve as a source of information regarding the political and electoral situation in the Republic of Moldova. The bulletin contains a series of interviews, commentaries and analyses of different experts on the political and electoral conditions in the country. This particular edition includes an Interview with D. Diacov and Rumen Valcev. Additionally it contains an editorial written by I. Botan on Referendums. Additionally, this edition contains a brief profile of the Public Welfare Foundation and an editorial on civic registration, as well as other topics related to the political and electoral situation in Moldova.

Restoring Democracy in the Political Picture
“Restoring Democracy in the Political Picture” is a pamphlet encouraging Pakistanis to register for the new voter’s list. It was published by the Election Commission of Pakistan on October 10th 2000 and also points out the new minimum voting age has been moved from 21 to 18 in an effort to reach out to Pakistani youth and encourage them to participate in Pakistani elections.

New Voters' List Your Participation Your National contribution!
This election registration reminder comes prior to Pakistani local elections taking place in 18 districts and was sent out on September 28th, 2000 by the Election Commission of Pakistan. Entitled, “New Voter’s List, Your Participation, Your National Contribution!” attempts to encourage Pakistanis to participate in these local elections.
