“Information on Voter Registration in Chicago” was published in the year 2000 by Illinois’ “Board of Election Commissioners.” The piece includes sections on how to physically register to vote as well as how to handle changes to an applicant’s address and or name. The piece also describes how to assist applicants with disabilities and “persons lacking traditional residence” in the application process. This booklet was released in lead up to the November 7, 2000 elections that would feature the presidential race between George W. Bush and Al Gore. There is also a Spanish version of this document included in this packet.

“Area Registration Instructions” was published in 2000 in Chicago Illinois during the lead up to that year’s general elections held on November 7. The booklet contains chapters on topics such as registering voters, setting up the registration location and concluding the registration duties. The booklet contains textual description as well as visual aids including sample voter registration cards as well as citizenship cards and sample election audit reports. That year’s general elections would feature the presidential race between Al Gore and George W. Bush.

The poster's scene depicts many aspects of Ugandan life including meeting with friends in the market, talking with local religious figures and displaying strong social capital. The poster was aimed at creating voter efficacy around a shared sense of community in lead up to the referendum on choosing a political system for the country.
