The major parties in the election were Latvian Way (Latvijas Cels) #22, Latvian National Independence Movement (Latvijas Nacionalas Neatkaribas Kustiba) #11, the National Harmony Party (Saskana Latvijai - Atszimsana Tautsaimniecibai) #19, and the Latvian Farmers' Union (Latvijas Zemnieku Savieniba) #4.
