Tennessee goes "Votomatic"
“Tennessee goes “Votomatic” is a report produced in 1974 and addressed to the Tennessee County Election Commissioners by the Computer Election Systems, after the introduction of the Votomatic Vote Recorder. The report covers the statistics of the November Elections, news articles from the elections and the recount, and an extremely important report from the Registrar-at-Large of Hamilton County. Additionally the report presents a description of the new voter computer system and a comparison between it and the old voting procedures.

Wyoming Guidelines for Punchcard Elections
In May 1981, Wyoming Secretary of State Thyra Thompson prepared the “Wyoming Guidelines for Punch Card Elections” in order to educate residents of Wyoming counties using this system on ballot format, color codes for primary versus general elections and partisan versus non-partisan offices, and regulations regarding ballot publications and requirements per polling station. Within this guide are examples of election ballots and further instructions regarding the appropriate process of counting and submitting votes. Instructional diagrams of punch card ballots are included to further educate Wyoming voters.

Nebraska wants you to vote
“Nebraska Wants You to Vote” was published in 1982 in lead up to that year’s mid-term elections. The piece contains information on the registration and voting processes and also contains a listing of all of the county seats in Nebraska. Furthermore, the packet includes sections on absentee voting and voting for confined and disabled persons. The November 2, 1982 elections were the first mid-term congressional elections during the presidency of Ronald Reagan.
