Republic in Transition: 1995 Elections in Tanzania and Zanzibar, IFES Observation Report
The goal of the report is to make a positive contribution to both the domestic and international audiences' understanding of the Zanzibar and Tanzania elections, so that a more accurate evaluation can be made of the fairness and legitimacy of the 1995 electoral process, and so that procedural problems and systemic weaknesses can be identified for correction in future multiparty elections in Tanzania.

This study of political finance in post-conflict society identifies lessons learned from international donor-funded efforts to support political processes in post-conflict environments in general and the funding of political parties and campaign finance in particular. Comparative Report on the State of the Parliament in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco
This comparative report on the state of the parliament is based on the country reports covering the parliaments of four countries—Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco—and is the first report of its kind in the Arab region. ACRLI, with technical support from IFES and the Canadian Parliamentary Centre, prepared these reports over a two-year period. It employed a multidisciplinary methodology based on international best practices and norms for parliaments, and drew up academic resources; applied research; surveys of parliamentarians, parliamentary staff and the public; and discussions at country and regional roundtables. It is part of a series of reports focused on the overall state of three key mutually supportive institutions in the Arab region: the judiciary, the media and the parliament.
