The 1990 Bulgarian Elections: A Pre-Election Assessment, May 1990
This report summarizes the findings of an IFES pre-election assessment team in Bulgaria from April, 1990. The document reports on meetings with the Central Election Commission, leaders and representatives of political parties and leading citizens groups. Further, the report discusses the electoral process, the role of the constitution, electoral law, composition and role of the central electoral commission and regional electoral commissions, voter registration procedures, the methods of ballot security, vote counting and verification, and the contest and appeals procedure. It also discussed the role of political parties in the campaign and in the election.

An Orderly Rebellion: Bulgarias Transition from Dictator to Democracy, August 1990
This report discusses the June 1990 elections in Bulgaria. The report discusses the roles of the Bulgarian Central Electoral Commission, political parties and election officials. Dissemination of Democractic political education at grassroots level in eleven districts of mid-western and far western development regions of Nepal
“Dissemination of Democratic Political Education” was a project proposed by the Indigenous Research Collaboratives (IRC/N) which argues for the democratic political education of eleven Nepalese districts at the grass-roots level to enhance the future of democracy in Nepal. Submitted on September 12th, 1991, this proposal includes charts and data supporting the necessity of grass-roots educating as well as financial statements of the proposal.
