Electoral Act
Published on October 14, 1998, the complete legislation of Electoral Act 73 is provided for the South African public. This national act outlines in detail all rules and regulations regarding voter registration and candidate and political party registration, defines the electoral structure, explains governmental appointments, and provides an electoral code of conduct. This publication was designed by Rushdi Nackderian and was provided in order to educate the South African public of the system of voting and elections in their country.

Hour for Democracy Songbook
“The Hour for Democracy Songbook” is a compilation of songs complete with lyrics focusing on the theme of democracy, change, and the upcoming April 1994 elections in South Africa. Published by the Institute for Contextual Theology, this songbook also includes a message from Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who urges the people of South Africa to exercise their right to vote.

Prayer for the Elections
The Natal Church Leaders in April 1994, in preparation for the South African national elections that month, published this “Prayer for the Elections” written in both English and Zulu. Published by Y Press in 1995, this brochure explains the significance of local government in South Africa in regards to the individual and the importance of voting in them. “Local Government Elections” also provides basic voter registration information to encourage South Africans to participate in the upcoming October 1995 local government elections.
