Detailed in the booklet are topics such as how citizenship in Uganda is defined and what the function of the new constitutional assembly will be. Also included is a description of the five year referendum cycle that will use the vote to decide the form of government in Uganda every five years.

"Candidates Meetings/ Candidates Campaigns" is a pamphlet published in 1994 during the lead up to Uganda’s constitutional assembly election of that year. The pamphlet discusses the candidates' meetings and the voting process. The candidates' meetings are highlighted as a time voters can gain knowledge on candidates and by doing so make an more informed decision with their vote. The voting and voter registration processes were also covered to aid voters in the process.

The literature was intended to educate the Ugandan people on their civic responsibilities and human rights. The booklet also contains chapters that examine the economic, political, and constitutional orders of Uganda as well as the electoral process of the country.

Join Us in Campaigning for a Just Domestic Relations Law
“Join Us in Campaigning for a Just Domestic Relations Law” is a pamphlet that was published in September of 1999 by the Ugandan Women’s Network. The pamphlet outlines the “Domestic Rights Bill,” a bill that was aimed at creating a more equitable legal status for women and in doing so create more stability in the household. Specifically the bill advocated for defining adultery as gender neutral, cementing the age one can consent to marriage at 18 years and recognizing that mental and physiological violence can be considered grounds for divorce.

“Voters Education (3)” is a 1991 pamphlet which provides details about voting procedure, electoral constituencies, candidates and various other election matters in preparation for the December 1991 Legislative Election in Nigeria. This 1992 July-September edition of “Liberty,” a Nigerian quarterly publication, contains articles on human rights work in the country, and “The Paradox of Reparations.” This edition's lead story was on Nigeria’s “Civil Liberties Organization (CLO).” The magazine also contains a copy of “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”

The Campaigner
This August/September 1992 edition of the Niagara publication, “The Campaigner,” focuses on the trials of three military officers who had been imprisoned for life due to their alleged role in the country’s 1985 coup. The article raises questions regarding civil and legal rights violations of the three officers and also considers if there should be a retrial of the men.

The Status of Refugee Rights in Nigeria
“The Status of Refugee Rights in Nigeria” is a 1992 report diseminated by Nigeria’s Civil Liberties Organization. The report provides background on the refugee camps in Nigeria, a look at refugee populations from Liberia and Chad and a legal analysis of the refugees and their status in Nigeria. The publication came out during in the middle of the Liberian Civil War and in the same year as the 1992 Chadian coup.
