“Your Guide to Voting in the 1996 General Elections” was published by Elections, New Zealand in 1996 in preparation for the October 12th, 1999 general elections. This booklet provides voter enrollment information, voting procedures, maps of electorates, a complete listing of polling stations, and common questions and answers. The voting instructions are provided in English, Chinese, Tongan, Korean, Maori, Cook Island Maori, Samoan, Tokelauan, and Niuean. A party list and a sample ballot are also provided in this booklet.

The Guide to the Electoral Referendum
“The Guide to the Electoral Referendum” was published by the Electoral Referendum Panel in 1992 and regards the September 19th 1992 vote in which a system of elections will be chosen to challenge the existing voting system. In addition to a brief history of New Zealand’s electoral history and a voting procedure outline, this guide outlines the different potential electoral system and provides their implications on New Zealand politics. These systems are the Mixed Member Proportional System, the Preferential Voting System, the Supplementary Member System and the Single Transferable Vote System.

Dissemination of Democractic political education at grassroots level in eleven districts of mid-western and far western development regions of Nepal
“Dissemination of Democratic Political Education” was a project proposed by the Indigenous Research Collaboratives (IRC/N) which argues for the democratic political education of eleven Nepalese districts at the grass-roots level to enhance the future of democracy in Nepal. Submitted on September 12th, 1991, this proposal includes charts and data supporting the necessity of grass-roots educating as well as financial statements of the proposal.

“Voter Education Training Module” is a 1992 teaching guide that details different activities meant to help participants recognize the important role played by people’s movements in elections. It was produced in preparation for the upcoming May 1992 General Presidential and Legislative Elections in the Philippines. The document, published by the Center for Urban Community Development, is part of a larger project for the Community Electoral Literacy and Awareness Program.
