The guide provides a thorough description of the local administration in Chile, its election process and the role of the local authorities in the political life of Chile. The guide is meant to familiarize the Chilean citizens with the new reforms introduced by the political and social sectors in the municipal structure in order to bring the democratic process to the communal level as well.
