Conociendo la Historia Civica de Mexico : 7
“Getting to Know the Civic History of Mexico 7” is an informative booklet, available in Spanish, published in 1996 by the Federal Electoral Institute, and it presents the civic historical facts and personalities throughout the months of July-September. The pamphlet is meant to amplify the knowledge of Mexican citizens regarding the most important happenings that have shaped the creation of Mexico, its identity and its historical memories that have been significant factors in the building of a democratic culture in Mexico. Some of the events covered are: the death of Jose Maria Luis Mora, the coming out of the “Regeneracion” periodical, and the birth of Jose Maria Morelos y Pavon.
