“Education Civique” is a teaching guide from 1994, available in French, which provides a history of Guinean politics and an explanation of the government structure, citizen rights, decentralization and the constitution in Guinea. The document, published by SAEC (Societe Africaine d’Edition et de Communication), is split up into different sections based on the schooling level – with each level covering different topics of civic education and games and quizzes throughout the booklet.

The document, published with the help of IFES, prepares citizens for the 2005 Presidential Election in Guinea where they are strongly encouraged to vote. Additionally, the pamphlet provides information about voter registration and what to look for in a candidate.

The cards present everyday scenarios involving topics and situations such as urban civics, the workplace and youth in South Africa. "Candidates Meetings/ Candidates Campaigns" is a pamphlet published in 1994 during the lead up to Uganda’s constitutional assembly election of that year. The pamphlet discusses the candidates' meetings and the voting process. The candidates' meetings are highlighted as a time voters can gain knowledge on candidates and by doing so make an more informed decision with their vote. The voting and voter registration processes were also covered to aid voters in the process.

“Code of Conduct for Civil Educators” is a 1996 publication that was aimed at supporting educational initiatives towards the Ugandan Constitution. The piece outlines the role of civic educators in Uganda as people who should foster strong voter turnout, as well as promote an open flow of knowledge so that voters can make the decision that is right for them. Furthermore this was published in 1996 the same year as the Ugandan presidential and parliamentary elections.
