A Young Leader in Tunisia Looks Forward
Achref Aouadi, founder of I-Watch, a youth-based nongovernmental organization that monitors campaign finance in Tunisia, knows what it is like to live under an oppressive regime. Today, he is working to ensure that freedoms acquired through the Arab Spring continues to flourish in his country. Jordan’s First Election Under a New Commission

IFES Trains Tunisian Journalists Ahead of Key Local Elections
IFES is currently organizing a series of trainings for Tunisian community radio and print journalists. The goal of these training sessions is to build the capacity of Tunisian journalists – including journalists working in the marginalized interior regions – to provide accurate, analytical and impartial coverage of the upcoming municipal elections and the decentralization process.
