IFES Report Examines Thai Political Transition
A new report from IFES provides recommendations to the government of Thailand as it attempts to reestablish a democratic government after last year’s military coup. The Pre-Election Technical Assessment report, or PETA, offers dozens of recommendations on constitutional and legal issues, election administration, voter education and election observation.

Elections in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville: 2015 General Elections
The May 2015 general elections mark the third elections for the House of Representatives for the Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG), and the fourth elections for the President (including the by-election of 2008) since the Bougainville Peace Agreement was signed in August 2001. The agreement provided for elections to establish the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, which was formed after elections in 2005.

The Election Commission of Thailand Meets with IFES
The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) hosted a delegation from Thailand led by Chairman of the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT), Mr. Supachai Somcharoen. Democracy Camps in the Kyrgyz Republic benefit Students with Disabilities
