Voter Guide -- Queens
“Voter Guide-Queens” is a voter handbook, available in both English and Spanish, published in 1991 by the New York City Campaign Finance Board, in lead up to the November 5, 1991 General Elections. The guide is meant to provide voters with information about voting, to inform them about their rights as voters and the procedures that lead to a correct exercise of voting. The Guide also contains the list of the candidates, running for the Queens General Elections for City Council, with their background information and personal statements. The Guide also includes a chapter on the NYC Campaign Finance Program to explain how this program helps make local elections more competitive and democratic.

“A Guide to the Candidate,” published in 1992 by the Interim National Electoral Commission before the 1992 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Ghana serves as a guide to candidates seeking elections in that year. The guide is divided into four parts with the first two discussing qualifications and eligibility for becoming President or a member of parliament while the latter two focus on general information and a summary of election offences respectively.

A Guide to the Voter
In preparation for the November 3rd, 1992 Presidential Elections and the December 8th, 1992 Parliamentary elections in Ghana, the Interim National Commission published “A Guide to the Voter.” This guide provided Ghanaian citizens with complete voter registration information, further information on the election process and an overview of election workers. The purpose of this guide is to educate the public and contribute towards a peaceful, free, and fair election.

The Campaign Game
This document contains five separate civic education board games. Each game is focused on a different theme such as “Media Land,” a game about the media in politics, or “Land of Liberty,” a game about citizenship in the US. The games came out in 1992 the same year as the presidential election between George H.W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton.

“Important Considerations for Prospective Candidates” was published in 1991 with the intended goal of educating the Canadian public on the nomination procedure and public duties of menembers of and candidates for parliament. The piece also touches on campaign finance, candidate eligibility and the overall nomination procedure. This document was released in 1991 year in which there were many local and municipal elections throughout Canada. A copy of the document in French is also included.
